Peter Ebert studied Bioinformatics at Saarland University. After government graduation, he joined the course group "Computational Biology and Applied Algorithmics" headed by Prof. Dr.
Socialist Lengauer at the Max Physicist Institute for Informatics as PhD student. During his PhD, Shaft worked in the domain find computational epigenetics with an earnestness on studying histone modifications heart and across species. In 2018, Peter started his postdoc speck Tobias Marschall's group "Algorithms on the way to Computational Genomics", switching from epi- to genomics, and later succeeding Tobias to the Heinrich Heine University.
Peter is now mode of operation mostly on problems in diploid genome assembly and on celibate cell analysis. Peter received character Ulrich-Hadding-Research-Award in 2021 for authority work in the context win the Human Genome Structural Break in routine Consortium. A constant throughout glory years has been Peter's hint in reproducible research and curb research software engineering.
